OVERVIEW

 

The SC membership has been designed to represent each of the “historic” RSA Regions for a total population of 17.  A simple majority of members are those individuals who are appointed to their respective state SRC, while the minority population is comprised of staff who work specifically for their Council. 

The Steering Committee was created to assure the organizational development and direction of the NCSRC.

The NCSRC officers are: Steve Ditschler - Chair (Minnesota General Member); Karen Stanfill – Vice Chair (Texas General Member); Marlene Malloy – Secretary (Michigan General Staff); and Theresa Hamrick – Treasurer (Oklahoma Combined Staff).  

The NCSRC “at large” members are:  Lee Gordon (Kentucky Statewide Council for Rehabilitation Member); Rhoda Hunter (Oregon General Staff); Gwendolyn Powell (Virgin Islands Rehabilitation Council Member); Pam Stratton (Alaska Combined Member); and Sherry Taylor (West Virginia General Staff). 

An “Ex – Officio” position has been created for those persons who would bring specific talents to the SC work.  Two individuals fill this position: Graham Sisson (Alabama Staff of the Combined Agency) lends his legal skills and Linda Vegoe (Wisconsin General Member) provides her public policy expertise.
